About

Hi I'm Sonny, an audio engineer from Caithness, Scotland now based in Aberdeen/Aberdeenshire. I've been producing, mixing & mastering music for 6 years now, working on everything from EDM to Indie to Metal.In 2026 I graduated from North East Scotland College with and HND in sound production, giving me solid experience working with top of the range recording equipment, as well as a great understanding of industry practices.While my credits are still growing, so far I've had the opportunity to work with local favourites Key North, electronic artist LVNARESENCE and Socialites.

MIXING

When mixing I'm aiming for 3 things; impact, excitement, and punch, all while preserving what made your recording and performance special in the first place. Through years of practice and research with professional multitracks I've managed to get a sound that competes with the big names.

MASTERING

Over the years I've built up a solid mastering skillset by mastering all of my own mixes. Through a variety of techniques (mid side EQ, clipping multiband compression etc.) I'll add the extra sheen, loudness and slam your track needs!

RECORDING

I'm also available as a recording engineer for hire for whatever space you're working in. I have experience working within a variety of spaces, such as Aberdeen's own York Street Studio, small college project studios and even bedrooms with just a Focusrite (mics will need to be provided at the space)
